I can watch Bloomberg on Mac OS X!

I can finally watch Bloomberg on OS X with only Quicktime & Flip4Mac installed, and the audio is working!. No need to run the old Windows Media Player 9 anymore.

Bloomberg TV

Just open this link with Quicktime:

Bloomberg TV for Mac OS X

What's the catch? This is the stream from Hong Kong (Bloomberg Asia) :) The content is exactly the same, but you'll get different advertisements every now and then. At least you don't need to run a 6-years old WMP9 with Rosetta.

Thank you !!! Been lookin' for this for a loooonnnng time And it's even better than the streaming video from the bloomberg website coz you don't have any pauses (the blue screen with stock quotes). Do you have the same for cnbc ?

Hi There, I tried this both and just get sound that resembles an electric egg beater on high speed. Is there anything else that could have been missed?? Thanks

The stream is still working fine from here (Canada). I've got an ADSL connection by the way. http://wmslive.media.hinet.net/Weblive_Bloomberg_300

You can also get it to work with Firefox: Download the VLC player from videolan.org and install it with the firefox plugin. Download the extension "User Agent Switcher" and create a new entry to spoof Safari. The entry should look this: Name: Safari 4.0.5 (v531) Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_3; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.22.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Safari/531.22.7 App Code name: Apple App name: Safari Version: 4.0.5 Platform: Intel Mac OS X 10_6_3 Make sure that Java is enabled as well. You also may need the extension "mediaplayerconnectivity".

Does any one else find it ridiculous that it's such a major production to watch Bloomberg on a Mac. I hate my Mac.
